Data Analyst - operations reporting (Dallas, TX)

Stonegate Pine Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Dallas area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 129 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
