Data Analyst - operations reporting (Dallas, TX)

Northwind Vista Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on treatment plant data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
