Data Analyst - operations reporting (Columbus, OH)

Silverline Fern Arts Center Group is a cultural organisation in Columbus presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on event logistics. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
