Data Analyst - operations reporting (Columbus, OH)

Bluepeak Hollow Arts Center Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
