Data Analyst - operations reporting (Columbus, OH)

Stonegate Kestrel Community Partners is a nonprofit in Columbus supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Investigate trends in grant reporting and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on donor records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
