Data Analyst - operations reporting (Columbus, OH)

Amberfield Meadow Financial serves customers across Columbus with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
