Data Analyst - operations reporting (Columbus, OH)

Harborlight Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Columbus region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on subcontractor invoices. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
