Data Analyst - operations reporting (Columbus, OH)

Fernwood Linden Hospitality Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for supplier orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on guest bookings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
