Data Analyst - operations reporting (Columbus, OH)

Summit Cross Foods is a Columbus food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer specifications and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on production batches. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
