Data Analyst - operations reporting (Cincinnati, OH)

Northwind Harbor Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on service connections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
