Data Analyst - operations reporting (Cincinnati, OH)

Redstone Ember Financial is a financial-services company in Cincinnati, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Investigate trends in account servicing and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on vendor spend. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
