Data Analyst - operations reporting (Cincinnati, OH)

Amberfield Fox Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
