Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charlotte, NC)

Rivermark Ashton Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Charlotte. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. We reward reliability. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
