Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charlotte, NC)

Northwind Sparrow Arts Center is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on event logistics. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
