Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charlotte, NC)

Lumen Summit Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Charlotte. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in maintenance stores and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on waiting lists. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
