Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charlotte, NC)

Northwind River Housing Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in rent assistance and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on resident services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
