Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Ridge Manufacturing and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on scrap and rework. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
