Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Bridge Foods is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on allergen controls. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
