Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge North Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on catastrophe response. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
