Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charleston, SC)

Foxglove Nest Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Charleston, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan applications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
