Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charleston, SC)

Nova Glen Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Charleston serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in branch operations and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on card disputes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
