Data Analyst - operations reporting (Charleston, SC)

Silverline Oak Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Charleston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in housekeeping schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on guest bookings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
