Data Analyst - operations reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Cedar Maple Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Buffalo supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in grant reporting and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
