Data Analyst - operations reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Greenridge Field Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Buffalo, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
