Data Analyst - operations reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Cedar Maple Community Partners Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 176 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in food distribution and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
