Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Granite Financial serves customers across Boston with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Boston. What you will do • Investigate trends in account servicing and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan applications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
