Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Hollow Legal Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on court deadlines. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
