Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boston, MA)

Westbrook Meridian Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Boston, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 997 people based in Boston. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in network equipment and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
