Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boston, MA)

Rivermark Amber Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Boston producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in regulatory filings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
