Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boston, MA)

Bluepeak Quill Facilities is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people based in Boston. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in supply orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on safety inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
