Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boston, MA)

Westbrook Haven Construction is a Boston contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boston. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
