Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boise, ID)

Nova Hollow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Boise, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 392 people based in Boise. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
