Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boise, ID)

Amberfield Basin Farms Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for field records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in field records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on cold storage. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
