Data Analyst - operations reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Fernwood Cedar Legal Group Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for client files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in client files and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on intake forms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
