Data Analyst - operations reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Westbrook Summit Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on service appointments. • Python or R for analysis.
