Data Analyst - operations reporting (Baltimore, MD)

Fernwood Holdings tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Baltimore. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in client sites and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on equipment calibration.
