Data Analyst - operations reporting (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind Oak Freight is a Anchorage logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 860 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
