Data Analyst - operations reporting (Anchorage, AK)

Bluepeak Wren Arts Center Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 119 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on exhibitions. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
