Data Analyst - operations reporting (Anchorage, AK)

Silverline Nest Financial is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
