Data Analyst - operations reporting (Anchorage, AK)

Westbrook Vale Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Anchorage. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in repair requests and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on maintenance stores. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
