Data Analyst - operations reporting (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Lakeside Legal Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on trust accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
