Data Analyst - operations reporting (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Lumen Wilder Early Learning and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in licensing records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on classroom supplies. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
