Data Analyst - operations reporting (Albuquerque, NM)

Clearpath Lantern Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Albuquerque area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on pipe repairs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
