Data Analyst - forecasting (Wichita, KS)

Silverline Cedar Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Wichita. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
