Data Analyst - forecasting (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Analytics and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in insurance authorisations and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
