Data Analyst - forecasting (Wichita, KS)

Harborlight Forge Inspection Services Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
