Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Summit Stone Arts Center and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on ticketing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
