Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Ashton Civic Services supports public agencies in Virginia Beach with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in case files and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on public records.
