Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Wren Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on service connections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
