Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Silverline Sparrow Arts Center Group is an arts centre in Virginia Beach with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in event logistics and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
